On Friday night I'm going for a bit of an overnight trip. The plan is to walk in to Cone Hut on Friday night although I'll see what the time is and possible head on further to Alpha. On Saturday I'll be heading over Hector and all Neil Winchcombe and back out to the Waiohine Road end. I'd rather only take reasonably fit or competent people on that circuit as I want to get it done by an early hour and get back to Wellington for Saturday night. However Cone hut is only a short walk into the hills and anyone who wants to join for that leg and amuse themselves for the day is welcome.

Let me know if you are keen.
