screws, pitons, wires (nuts) we have

does that work?

how many people want to go? it would be nice to get the van full:)

Re: Glenn Pennycook's Climbing Course

and yes you can totaly bororw the gloves and overtrowsers again! :) Remind me thurs :)
Re: Glenn Pennycook's Climbing Course

Excellent :) I hope you feel better soon and the work load decreases!

the last 2 years we tented out next to the NZAC hut saturday night (ie the one that we where planning on camping next to but ended up going back down to the shelter at the car park). You can borrow the club tents.

If you want to pay to stay in the NZAC hut that is also fine, you can book it online or over the phone I think.
Glenn Pennycook is running a technical climbing course on Mt Ruapehu on 20-21 June, with a backup of 27-28 June if the weather is bad. Who is interested in going to this course? If anyone has a car and is able to drive there, that would be awesome too.

The cost is getting there and accomodation, but Glenn does not charge for the course itself. Anyone who goes needs to be able to handle themseves in alpine conditions with equipment such as crampons (Being able to self arrest if you fall over, etc). The link below gives an explanation.

http://www.mountainz.co.nz/content/article/event/event11.php

Thanks,
