So far its shaping up to be Wednesday 15th to Wednesday 22ond coming back (I was initially wanting Sat. to Sat, but others prefer this). Current route is flexible, and is dependent on weather, also if everyone has appropriate gear (borrowing iceaxes + crampons in case they are needed - hoping everyone has boots suitable for these + warm clothing etc). Also 2-3 spots are available now as 1 person has pulled out.

So is anyone keen? Spaces in the car for 1 - 2 more, with cost of ferry possibly covered (to be confirmed - depends on a voucher). Detailed planning will occur this Friday, so it would be good to hear from anyone before then.

Easter Break Nelson Lakes tramp

Hi all,

Looking at doing a tramp in the Nelson lakes park in the second week of the Easter break for about a week.

Rough trip plan (to be confirmed):

Day 1: Mt. Roberts Carpark to Angelus hut

2: West Sabine hut

3: Blue lake hut (have a bit of extra time here)

4 or 5: Upper Travers hut

6: Lakehead hut

7: Head out - maybe organise a lift or something to get car back from Roberts.

So far both Fannings (Tom and Jonathan) are going, with a couple of others pending. Is anyone else keen?
