I was thinking of an overnight trip Saturday/Sunday into Arete Fx. It would involve walking into Mitre Flats, over Mitre (highest point in the Tararuas) and down to Arete Fx Hut&amp;nbsp;for the night, with a splash down the Waingawa river the next day (probably not enough water to bother with tubing).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Will travel fairly light and fast but depends whose keen, could have a couple of groups even... let me know if you're interested.&lt;/P&gt;
