Climbing could indeed be a very effective form of exam procrastination... A loop over the Tararua tops via Mangahuka has also been proposed... Will keep a big ear out for any other ideas! Was thinking maybe the week after Labour weekend or the week after that. Or the week before Labour weekend! Just anytime should be studying! Although I guess should actually attend my exams which are somewhere around then!!!

I wil be keen, depending on how much snow skills are required. Although I got exp in tramping, climbing, cycling and canoying, I got nothing on the snow/alpine part - so unless it is suitable for begginers, I am in. Rock Climbing trip sounds good - but how far and how much?? :)

well it has been said rock climbing helps with your mountaineering... and i dont ever remember seeing you lead any climbs annabel... so come climbing!!!

Hey guys

Just wondering if anyone's keen for a 3-4 day trip sometime over the study break/exam period? You can't study for an entire month after all!! Don't really have any ideas where, but Ruapehu has had 30cm of new snow in the last two days.. And can't really afford ferry crossings at the moment...
