Sounds bloody good, indeed. My tent sleeps 3 people. I also have got a spare sleeping bag and a mat, in the unlikely case that someone hasn’t got any camping gear.

Here is a list of several “official” /safe (?) campgrounds around Rotorua (an incredible URL, I know…). Lots of holiday-family-fun park things, tho…

Hot pools and mountainbiking this weekend

Hey all. The current plan for this trip this weekend is to leave early saturday morning... (say..9), head north till we find somewhere to mountain bike, then go to kerosene creek and camp nearby for the night. Kerosene creek has a hot waterfall. Sore bodies plus cold beer/wine plus hot waterfall plus stary night = churchur goodness! We would head back to be in Welly by Sunday evening. For this trip we need to fill up a few details.

1. Where we will be mountainbiking.

2. Where we will be camping - there is a bit of camping ground near kerosene creek but I'm told it might not be that safe. Maybe if we have plenty of tents it would be OK?

My phone number is 021 237 2921, but it would be cool if you are interested if you just let me know on this forum. Also, can someone bug kate to see if she can bring her van?

We will also need some tents and cooking equipment for the saturday night. Anyone got a key to the gearshed?
