&lt;P&gt;Required gear - what&amp;nbsp;you&amp;nbsp;would normally&amp;nbsp;take &lt;A href="http://vuwtc.org.nz/cs/content/gear.aspx"&gt;http://vuwtc.org.nz/cs/content/gear.aspx&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;AND:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;overtrousers, gloves, sun glasses&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As we may encounter snow/ice, so we will bring crampons and ice axes (the club will supply crampons and ice axes).&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Some experience in winter conditions using crampons&amp;nbsp;and ice axes&amp;nbsp;is required for this trip.&amp;nbsp; If you are not sure, send me an email/talk to me at the meeting and we will make a judgement.&amp;nbsp; Depending on who is interested in coming, we may be able to have a quick lesson on how to use crampons and ice axes on the Saturday morning&lt;/P&gt;
