Belmont Bunkers Day Trip

Ok the plan for this is to head into the Belmont Regional Park for a day walk this weekend. It will be whichever of Saturday or Sunday is best weatherwise. I’ll make a call on Friday. Along the way there is a diverse range of landforms and vegetation as well as old amunition bunkers from WW2.

We do need a good day for this since we go above the bushline and if its wet or unsuitable weather both days then we may do something else instead like weeding and cleaning at my place.....

You will need to bring:

- Raincoat

- Warm clothing and a change of clothes

- Lunch and snacks

- A torch (we always take one of these even if we don't expect to be back late)

- Water bottle

- $5 for the driver unless we take your car

Can everyone who can bring a car let me know. We only have mine at this stage although one may be enough depending on signups.

The plan would be to meet at Hunter at 8.30am and we should be back in town by evening. If interested email me.
