Cheers for the fantastic weekend Ritchie, you did a great job organising it. Shame it wasn’t a success because of the weather gods but a lot of people got out in the hills and had a really good time – a very enjoyable weekend for all.

Hi all

Hope you all had a good time this weekend just gone.

In the end the conditions were just a bit too much to get the job done. I suspect we would have done a lot better today if we didn't have to work etc.

Sounds like there were still some pretty good trips though. Depsite what was some pretty middling-poor weather. Actually it was worse than that, it was really s*** where I was.

So thanks all for coming, and to the leaders and the car drivers. Please just sort out petrol money within your cars.

Lastly PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE lets have some trip reports!

I look forward to the next one - just contributing rather than organising, and hopefully a more manageable task! A project for early next year? Could be a good way to kick off the club year with a massive assault on the Tararuas when there's heaps of fresh and keen people and the wx is often more settled.
