Hiya,

I haven't had much time this week to think about a theme. Lets go with the Japanese tea party since that was pretty popular a few weeks back when it was first mentioned. I'm pretty keen for a game of soccer or cricket too.

I am definatly will be there. Have we chosen a theme? I would like to put forward a few ideas such as a Japanese tea party where you can wear a kamodo or come as wrestler. The beige brigade so we can play a game of cricket up there. The von trap family from The Sound of Music wearing braces, clogs, shorts with knee high socks etc. Some one could bring a guitar to sing the "Doe a deer" and have a a high tea party. Last idea the fraggles cos they are cool. Bright colours, goofy smiles and hair in pig tails.

Inter-club Summit Luncheon

Hi all,

The inter-club summit lunchecon is taking place over the weekend of 25-27 September. This weekend will see Auckland, Massey and Victoria tramping clubs getting up to all sorts of randomness on and around Ruapehu. We'll probably be staying at the MUAC hut for Friday and Saturday nights, although if this gets full we may camp out. The trip is a little more expensive given the distance, the hut, and the quality of food but is still good value for a weekend away like this at $70.

Let me know if you are keen to join in on the shenanigans or just want to get up to the summit plateau.
