Mungahuka Hut was recently rebuilt and is one of the newer huts in the Taruaruas. It is situated in a particularly nice spot and a short walk gives some stunning 360 degree views when the weather is good. </p><p>There has been a high level of interest so far so this is shaping up to be a good trip, a typical medium-fit Tararua tramp and the chance to bag quite a few huts!</p><p>What to expect: A reasonable hill climb on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. A good selection of tracks, routes, bush and tops travel.</p><p>I'll be organising the trip. At this stage I'm keen to lead it as well but I may not be able to for a number of reasons so looking for a keen person to step into this role if required.</p><p>Get in touch if you are keen.
