Hi All, I've booked a two hour trek for next saturday (15th), at 1:00. it will cost 55 bucks and be up in the ohariu valley, and should be lots of fun. Unfortuatly there is limited space, so I'll need people to confirm that they are coming and give me a payment of 20$ on tuesday so I can confirm numbers with the place.

For anyone who didnt sign up last tuesday, give me a confirming holler, and same for anyone who did put their name down but has decided not to come.

Hey Jess I found a place called Patuna farm out in Martinborough that might be cool too, don't know if you've already checked it out - apparently its $35 for an hour, $55 for 2 hours... Ok kids, looks like the cheepest option is the Ohariu Country Club, pricing as follows

1 hour- 40per, 2hours 55per, 3.5hours (sun) 70per

Let me know what you'd be keen for and i'' try to have a sign up sheet one of these meetings

Awsome guys, glad to know there are sensible people in the club :)

At this point i think the calender has a ride penciled in on sept 15th, when i get back from rocking it down south i'll do some final inquiries and get an actual date/time/price thingy set.

Yeeeehaaah! I'm down for some girl/guy-on-horse action, too. Was really fun last time I tried that, although I was barely able to walk on the next day. - Oouch!! :) :) :)

Apparently there's a newish place up on Kapiti coast thats supposedly good... pity we can't do one of those epic week-long alpine ones down south! There's also that vaulting club up on Kapiti, have you done any of that? It sounds rad but I've never been the most graceful person so don't think I'd be joining their elite team anytime soon :)

Hey all you horse-nutters out there- i need a head count on people interested in going trekking in september so i can get quotes from the places in the area. Looks like it will be about 50 bucks, but discounts might be possible if the group is big enough. I dont need a commitment at this point, just a rough idea of who is interested.
