I couldn't agree with you more Matthias! I don't feel tough, but i do feel pretty stupid :-(

By the way what I did mean to say in that other post is if anyone has any clothes or anything they need to get dry cleaned or are ruined cause of my blood please let me know what I owe you and I'll reimburse you. Same goes for stuff out of first aid kits etc.

Just 10 stitches! Looked more like 100 would have been necessary ;-)

The new NZ fun sport: Extreme hut-window-jumping! Even more crazy than bungee, zorbing and all that stuff!!!

No doubt: That (and your walk back to the carpark on the next day) is worth a tough nut award!

(But that 8h walk another 2 guys did: Wainuiomata -Baines hut via McKerrow, Clay Ridge, Catchpool Valley and Big Bend track - arrival at the final destination at around 3am - wasn't too bad, either...)

Hey Guys,

I would just like to say a huge thankyou to everyone who sorted me out on Saturday night - I know there were a lot of you and i wasn't exactly always the most co-operative patient from what I hear (concussion and booze mean my memory is pretty blank!). Anyway the good news is I'm ok - got 10 stiches to the head at A&E yesterday afternoon. You never know - I might actually learn something out of this!
