&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;This year part-directed by yours truly, the 2008 German club production is an irreverent look at the history of German music, marital strife, and the difficulties of delivering a piano 18,000 km from Whakarewarewa to somewhere in Deutschland.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The&amp;nbsp;play includes pieces inspired by&amp;nbsp;towering figures of German music including J.S. Bach, Mozart, Wagner...and Rammstein!&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;And&amp;nbsp;I can promise&amp;nbsp;plenty of English-language jokes for those among us who don't speak German!&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-What? 2008 German play, 'Deutsch fur Anfanger' (German for Beginners)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Where? Gryphon Theatre, Ghuznee Street&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-When? 7.30pm, Wednesday 13 August - Saturday 16 August&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-How much? $12 waged, $10 unwaged&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Tickets: Available from School of Asian and European Languages office, 6th floor of the Von Zedlitz building, Kelburn Parade, or by phone from (04) 463 5294. Pick up tickets at door; depending on how sales go, there may be door sales.&lt;/P&gt;
