Hi Everyone,
This weekend the Circus is coming to town (well, to Petone, but that's close enough). As several of you were asking about it last night here are the details with a link to more detailed details. In short it's a mid winter carnival this saturday with activities from 2-7.30pm. (sorry about the bold - it won't go away)

Welcome to the inaugural Petone Winter Carnival.

The Petone Winter Carnival offers a cluster of events for the whole family including chalk art drawing, circus and flying trapeze workshops, a polar plunge into the chilly Wellington Harbour, a spectacular and awe-inspiring series of high-wire circus acts, a visual art installation exploring Petone's link with migration, live DJ performances and the finale - the breath-taking Pelorus Trust Fireshow.

The Petone Winter Carnival has something for everyone. So shake off the winter blues and prepare to be astonished, delighted and exhilarated!
