Hi all,

I'll be running a day trip this Wednesday to Kapakapanui. It's a loop track that goes up past Kapakapanui Hut, to the summit, and then back down around to the car. The weather is looking good so hopefully we will get views out over Kapiti Island.

As it is a day trip you will need to bring lunch, a rain coat, your head torch and warm clothes. There will be some (small) river crossings at the start, some tops travel and some goblin forest.

We will probably leave early on Wednesday (around 8am). The trip will be around 6-8 hours depending on how long we stop for lunch/to take photos etc :)
